Today she shared the image with her fans on Instagram and tweeted "My first tattoo!! Lions rule! Thank you so much".
The British model and Rihanna are known to be good friends, so perhaps Rihanna's love for tattoos had significant influence on 20-year-old Cara to get one as well.
Her tattoo was done at the famous Bang Bang tattoo parlour in New York. With a big lion face on her index finger, Cara is throwing out the rule as models are advised to remain blank like a canvas.
